Built on a Belief That Quality Changes Everything
Michael and Ronda Taylor have been partners in life since 1987 — long before they were partners in business. They built a home, raised two sons, and spent decades in Dallas learning what it means to invest in something that truly matters.
Five years ago, they made a deliberate choice: return to Oklahoma and build something of their own. What started as a personal move back home became the foundation of Southport Property Group — a real estate portfolio rooted in quality, personal care, and a long-term view.
Since that move, SPG has grown steadily. Michael and Ronda have acquired single-family rental homes in Oklahoma and Denison, Texas — properties they manage personally and maintain to a standard they'd be proud to call home themselves. They've also invested in two apartment complexes and acquired parcels at Lake Eufaula, where the next generation of short-term rentals is already taking shape.
Their current flagship project, The A-Frame Retreat, is a Den Outdoors A-Frame home under construction in Oklahoma — a modern architectural escape built for guests who want more than a hotel room. It reflects everything SPG stands for: considered design, lasting quality, and the belief that a great property is always worth doing right.

Michael Taylor
Co-Founder & Real Estate ProfessionalMichael is the driving force behind SPG's day-to-day operations. As a real estate professional, he manages the full portfolio — from tenant relationships and property maintenance to acquisitions and new development. If something needs to get done at SPG, Michael handles it.

Ronda manages SPG's back-office operations — financials, organization, and strategic planning. With a professional background in technology and systems, she brings the same precision to the business side of SPG that Michael brings to the properties.
